Quick Start
Get up and running with Tachapps in under 10 minutes.
1. Sign In
Navigate to your Tachapps instance and sign in with your credentials. On first login you will be prompted to set a permanent password.
2. Select a Project
From the Home screen, select a project from the project list. Projects represent the top-level organizational unit (e.g., a field, an asset, or a business unit).
If no projects are visible, contact your administrator to ensure you have been granted access to at least one project.
3. Explore the Dashboard
After selecting a project, you land on the Project Dashboard. Here you will find pre-configured widgets showing:
- Current production rates (oil, water, gas)
- 30/60/90-day cumulative production
- Active wells and their status
- Decline curve overlays
4. Customize a Widget
Click the Edit icon (pencil) on any chart widget to open the sidebar panel. From there you can:
- Change the Y-axis variable (e.g., switch from oil rate to GOR)
- Adjust the date range
- Toggle individual wells on/off
- Change the chart type (line, bar, scatter)
Click Save to persist the widget configuration.
5. Run a Forecast
Navigate to Forecasting in the left-hand navigation.
- Select one or more wells
- Choose a forecast model (DCA, material balance, or data-driven)
- Set the forecast horizon (months)
- Click Run Forecast
Results appear as overlay curves on the production history chart.
